Lane Turgeon
Youth and Music Staff
Lane is a lifelong Winfield resident, where he runs a musical instrument repair and piano tuning business, Turgeon Musical ReSolutions.
He is married to his wife Keren, and has a son named Arthur.
He helps with the worship team at CBF, and leads the youth group with events of games, friendship, and most importantly directing them to Jesus.
For fun he enjoys playing music, Call of Duty, and being insufferable telling people that he has perfect pitch.
Christena "Chris" Edgington
Awana Ministry Director
Chris has served in the Awana ministry for over 35 years. She has been married to her husband Larry since July of 1978. They have three married daughters; and five grandchildren. All three of their daughters earned their Awana "Timothy" Awards as children!
Chris lives in Douglass, KS where she is a Paraeducator at Seal Elementary. Chris graduated from Calvary Bible College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Local Church Education. Her passion is teaching children, especially the truths that matter for eternity.

LaTonya McGathy
Head Secretary
LaTonya joined our secretary staff in August 2015! She has been married to Chad McGathy since July of 2006. They have four children, a son, Aceon, 16 years old, a daughter, Ella, 12 years old and another son, Declan, 4 years old and a baby girl, Tirzah, 18months. LaTonya has been involved in Awana serving as the Awana secretary since 2015. She also oversees the Children's Ministry by doing scheduling and the annual Children's Christmas Programs! Additionally, she organizes other church events such as family dinner and movie nights!
Her spiritual gifts are singing, hospitality, organizing, and decorating.
She enjoys tennis, bike riding, hanging out with friends, crafts, movies, music, singing, piano playing and spending time with her family.

Bart Feldfer
Secretary/Custodial
Bart joined our secretary staff in August 2025. He also joined the janitorial staff. His spiritual gifts are listening, patience, and serving.
He enjoys working on his mini-farm in his spare time.
